Athletic Development

Sports are where it starts for many of our youth — and it's where some of the most important lessons take root. Our athletic programs teach teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship through structured competition and coaching.

ELW's athletic programming includes summer basketball camp, competitive youth basketball leagues, and sports clinics that give youth a place to compete, improve, and belong.

Our youth develop physical fitness, self-discipline, and the confidence that comes from being part of a team.

In the Classroom

Educational Enrichment

Confidence in the classroom is just as important as confidence on the court. Our educational enrichment programs provide hands-on learning in STEM, literacy, and academic readiness that meet youth where they are and challenge them to grow.

Our participants build academic confidence, critical thinking skills, and a genuine interest in learning that extends beyond the program.

In Their Corner

Social Prevention & Mentorship

All youth benefit from having a caring adult in their corner. Our mentorship and social intervention programs connect youth with positive role models who provide guidance, accountability, and real-world life skills that help them navigate challenges and make strong decisions.

Our youth develop stronger decision-making skills, emotional resilience, and lasting relationships with adults who believe in them.

Beyond the Program

Leadership & Life Skills

Leadership is not something youth grow into someday — it's something they can start practicing now. Our programming gives our youth the tools to set goals, communicate effectively, work through conflict, and take responsibility for their own growth.

Participants gain communication skills, goal-setting habits, and the self-assurance to lead in school, at home, and in their community.
